At 10MB target, you can fit 20-40 seconds of 480p, 10-20 seconds of 720p, or 5-8 seconds of 1080p. Good for short messaging clips. The bitrate that produces exactly 10MB of output is computed from your video's duration. Quality tradeoffs by duration:

Frequently asked questions

The tool computes target bitrate from input duration using the formula: bitrate = (target_size_MB × 8192 / duration_sec) − audio_bitrate. The H.264 encoder then produces output at that calculated bitrate. Result is usually within 5% of the 10MB target. For better accuracy, V2 will add two-pass encoding.
